Daniel- good to hear from you. I am about to resurrect my planning for
the Ottawa Sector. Phil Karam has graciously agreed to be the 2IC here
and we will get volunteers from the Ottawa Club when we get closer to
the time. When you have your details in place can you suggest a good
rendezvous point in Montreal or to the North somewhere where we can
hand off the gang so to speak?

I see no need or advantage to
having the event "acknowledged" by JCNA. Remember, there is no such
thing as a "JCNA". It stands for Jaguar Clubs of North America, so
you are right to contact local clubs (or let your SC's contact local
clubs) and seek out individuals to take responsibility for organizing a
sector.
In my opinion, if an individual in a particular sector that has no SC
says that
he or she is "reluctant" to get involved with the event because it
is not "acknowledged" by JCNA, then that individual is wasting your
time. Find another individual.
