Its a pity that most Jag groupies are greying, elderly men
somewhat outside the parameters of what society would accept as
pretty/sexy/attractive. (I think I'll leave my Viagra/Trojan travel pack
at home for this one)

I agree with the cliquism, elitism concern and I think
we are overworking this.....as far as I am concerned, anyone that want
to join the procession must de facto be a fan of the Jag...if a non Jag
owner wants to join in the spirit of things, hey the more the
merrier....if they are not driving a Jag, I suggest we encourage them to
follow the procession rather than inserting themselves amongst the Cats
but there is no way we can really police it in any event. I'd like to
think of it as more a collection of groupies trailing us (I always
wanted to be a rock star with groupies) :-). I think most would
understand and honour this type of request.....hey we could even take it
one step further and give them a static cling decal saying "I wish I was
a Jag!"
		=20
		Let the shunning begin!

As Bob has stated in my Sector (Saskatchewan) we
have a Jag club but some members presently do not have a Jag that can go
on this trip. Though I think they are all trying to get a Jag, except
our one Alpha owner who we forgive (by forgive I mean put up with
because he buys coffee sometimes) mostly because he is Italian and we
like him anyway.
			=20
However, I have said previously that as long as
we promote Jaguars, make it a "Jaguar" tour, get Jaguar sponsorship,
etc. I see NO PROBLEM if a Jag club member joins us on this sector with
his present non-Jaguar car (except the Alpha). This does not need to be
advertised nor over discussed. It simply means a fellow car-lover and
club member who is helping us out may come along. AND there will be no
negative impact on the Tour, in fact, quite the opposite.=20
			=20
That being said:....I would limit non-Jag cars
completely to only Club members that are helping out in the organization
etc. I see no reason to accept any non-Jaguar on the Tour who is not a
member of the Sector 's sponsoring car club or organization.
			=20
So I seem to fit in with all the other emails on
this topic as I say we can have non-Jag cars and we can not have non-Jag
cars. I think I will now run for some office somewhere.

For my part I am quite strongly opposed
to the "Non-Jags at the rear of the convoy approach" that has been
discussed over he last bit. One, it's a logistical PITA for the
organizers. Two, it promotes clique-ism on the Tour.
				=20
There likely won't be all that many
non-Jags anyway.
				=20
Anyone else feel the same (or do I run
away and hide again!).
