Bob,

I can't believe that is true because you Canadians hold concours and I can't
imagine JCNA permitting that without liability protection. They could be
wiped out with a lawsuit. The must have something worked out, and I'll hear
what that is from the BoD after they meet.

Dennis Eynon, a man not lacking in enthusiasm is thrilled with the idea and
I'm sure will give an impassioned presentation at the BoD meeting. He talked
with Gary Hagopian, Past JCNA President and board member, and Gary is
equally excited. Another BoD member, Lisa Hendrix is also on board, as is
the omnipresent Pascal Gademer who e-mailed me that he'll be throwing his
support behind it.

I am of the understanding that JCNA insurance is OK for the US, but does not
cover Canadian events.  This was mentioned to me a couple of years ago by
someone high up in the organization, but may have changed by now.  Is this
something you can verify?

Bob,

JCNA has insurance to cover this stuff which is included with membership. I
know if you are a non-member entering a concours, you have to pay an
additional $5 for coverage. As this is a traveling event as opposed to a
parked event, the charge might be higher. JCNA member-at-large membership is
only $52/year and you get the Jaguar Journal, so it might be worth
considering.

Because we allow non-members at the concours, I think a two-tiered price
members/non-members to cover the insurance would be acceptable.
