I have some cross tube mounting clamps from a TC if that is of interest......

The measurements in my previous e-mail were not clear so I'm repeating them
again.

 

The rubber packing is 0.5 inches in section and 1.25 inches wide.

 

The holes in the rear chassis tube are 16.5 inches between centres
(centers). This distance is the same for both the J2 (and no doubt other
Triple-M cars) and the beam axle T-Series models.

 

I confirm that the mounting clamps for the J-type are identical to the beam
axle T-Series models.
