[Mg-mmm] J2 Windscreen and wiper motor question

J2 3343 is from the era of the vacuum windscreen wiper motor. I think 
it is a 'neat' item. I know it is not much in the rain nor is the 
electric version for that matter...Rain-X.

The windscreen that came with J2 3343 as a basket case car, does not 
have the embedded vacuum pipe as I have seen on other J2s nor the 
holes for the electric wire as per later windscreens. It just has 
four or five threaded holes for an external vacuum pipe held with 
clips...I assume.

I think a polished brass tube running along the windscreen frame to 
the wiper motor would add character. I do not recall seeing a J2 with 
an external vacuum pipe and wonder if he frame could be from an 
earlier type MG or very early J2.
