[Mg-t] Request

Rick,

I've had recent contact with a chap in Houston who has faced the same problem. He has built a special jig to support the top frame while determining exactly where the pivots should go, in order to position the frame so that it best fits the new top and side curtain covers. I have found that, even though they are excellent reproductions, modern canvas tops and covers aren't exactly the same as original and a custom fit is the best way of making the finished job look and work really well.

Reach Terry Estling at estling at sbcglobal.net or 832-283-2719. He's doing a superb restoration of his TD.
