[Nobbc] Advice needed

I changed my 1965 spitfire gear box for an overdrive unit and I just want 
you to be aware they are longer and you will need to use a different shorter 
drive shaft.  The 1976 gear box will also have synchro first gear as well as 
slighly different ratios, but top will still be 1:1 out of OD.  The next 
warning, which I'm not sure applies to that later gearbox/OD unit, is that 
the shift remote linkage has a switch mounted that prevents the OD from 
switching in unless 3rd or top are selected.  Reversing while OD is engaged 
can break the OD while switching out of OD in 1st or 2nd can cause the 
engine to over rev.  Oh yeah, you'll have to notch  the tunnel back to get 
access to the U-joint bolts.  There was a cover plate added for the 
spitfire.
