[Nobbc] Whew! Saturday's Drive...

Andy,

Unfortunately not, we'll be in Portland this weekend, so I'll simply have to
cool my proverbial heels and hone my navigational skills (or perhaps I should
say grow some?) and catch you at some later date. Can't wait to see that coupe
though.

Hi Norm, sorry you got lost and couldn't join us on Saturday, we were
looking forward to seeing you again. Will you be going on the WCCC ride on
Saturday? We can catch up then. Looks like it should be good weather.

Andy

Rats! RATS!!!!! And maxima apologia to Andy and Marla particularly for
holding
up the parade. I must've been with a few blocks if the joint too. Took a
turnoff marked Wilfred Ave. but NOT also East Cotati. Mistake I'm guessing.
Drove along until it was clear things weren't as they should be and pulled
into a gas station and asked a friendly lad if he knew where East Cotati
was.
Absolutely came the reply! Turned out he didn't, or, more likely, I got the
directions wrong (a specialty of chez moi). Went (again) until it was clear
things had gone awry and called Marla. Got more directions, some of which I
was able to hear over the traffic noise (I don't come equipped with
cell-phone
ears...). Decided the GPS would save the day. It didn't. Think it took me
back
home, probably because I didn't cancel the last "trip." Realized this when
it
told me to get back on 101 going south... RATS!!!! Hope you guys were able
to
catch up with the group and that I'll be able to see that coupe of yours one
these days. And it sounded like such a great ride too. RAAAAATTTTTSSSSS!!!!
Car drove great though. On the effing freeway... Still, 'way prettier
freeway
up in your neck of the woods.

Dang! Sounds like I missed a good ride. Thanks Greg, Trish, Andy and
Marla for showing what a great club we have. I look forward to the pictures.
