i thought i would get back to you on where i wwent wrong with my brake
conversion:

some times it's the obvious that gets over looked. i set up the hydroboost
back in 05 when i was setting up my frame. i had the cab on the frame with the
old squished rubber mounts. after body and paint, mounting all the sheetmetal
and plumbing the brakes; something moved. i removed the bolt between the brake
pedal and the hydroboost and there was a 3/16" diference. basically i was
pushing the master cylinder in 3/16". definitely a noobish move.

feed back on the hydroboost: go for it. stopping power plus. if your thinking
about going with a vacume booster, don't. i had plenty of room to mount it
under the floor with the stock pedal and swing arm. i even cut 3" off the
pedal to get it closer to the floor. as shown in this pic.
