[Oletrucks] Oil pressure sender tube for oil guage

I broke off the line right at the block while hooking up my exhaust. After a little searching I found LMC had a replacement. It just arrived and the ferrules are not on the ends of the line. Does anyone know how these things are attached to the line? Are these compression type nuts that seal when tightened? The old line has about 1/8 inch sticking out and you can't slide the nuts off.
