[Shop-talk] GE refridgerators

My memory is shot. I appologize if I've whined about this before.......

When we bought our current refrigerator it was pretty much a top of the line.
We got a deal on it through my MIL's employer. Weve now had it 6-7 years and
I've had to replace the fan motor twice already and it is getting noisy again.
The repair guy told me GEs are known for this. My wife has also been told this
by a friend who owns (I think) the same model.

While I know I can go online and find the part and put it in myself, I'd
prefer to get a part that isn't supposed to fail in two or less years.

So, any suggestions on a part houses? Suggestions over all? (A different
fridge isnt in the cards right now.)
