Tim;

If this is the evaporator motor (moves cold air inside the box)and looks 
something like this http://www.bellparts.com/product/inv_WR60X203 you 
can take it apart and work some sewing machine oil or turbine oil into 
the bronze bushings. I've had them last for years after doing this. If 
it's one of the newer sealed DC motors, you're pretty much stuck buying 
a new motor.

If it's the condenser fan motor (moves hot air in the mechanical area) 
and looks like this 
http://www.pcappliancerepair.com/inquiry.php?partid=D562 you can try the 
sewing machine oil trick here too if you can get to the bearings. Some 
motors are completely sealed and some will let you in.
