The current price is atypical; I paid around $8 for it, and I've seen many other similar products.It easily suctions to the windshield, and the arm rests against the dash.  The suction cup isn't weight bearing, so it doesn't typically ever come loose until I take it off.  There are other versions with longer/shorter arms, depending on how deep your dash is.
