This sounds like LTL from Fastenal. I've Fastenal many times. But, in this case, store to store does not work as the destination is a port.

Thanks

How big is the rate & what does it weigh?

In 2021 I had a crated transmission weighing about 175 lbs shipped from Fl to Tx. I think it cost less than $200. I’ll have to see if I can find the name of the company. They were actually a commercial tool & equipment company that used their own trucks to get supplies to their stores. If they had spare room on the truck, it went in. If not, it waited for a truck with room. It was store to store shipping.

Peace, Pat

Hey all,

I need to get a crate from WI to DE.

The shipper I tried said I need a business license to avoid a cost of three times what it would be otherwise. (this is BS)

I tried a third-party shipper who also told me that I needed a business license before they could help me.

So..............any suggestions for a company that will ship a crate affordably for an average person? I have a UPS account and will be calling them this afternoon but an already certain that they will be stupid expensive.

Any of you have a business license that would be willing to let me use it to set up this shipping? A big ask, I know but I am starting to get desperate.

Thanks all
tim
