[Shotimes] low coolant light

Sounds reasonable if they only cost a buck or two. My '89 would flake out,
and would only come on AFTER I filled the tank. I would just leave it
unplugged for a few weeks, and it would be fine. The tank level  is easy
enough to check regularly anyway, it isn't like the low coolant sensor will
help you if you punch a hole in the radiator while driving.

Jim,

You probably just need to replace the sensor.  No matter how many times I
cleaned the one on my '90, the light kept coming back on.  Eventually, they
just crap out.
