Darn, I get those feelings with my Gen3. If I just had a little extra $$$ for that supercharger....

What is utterly amazing to me is that a car company could easily make whatever they want. There is no reason that the Mazda 6 couldn't have hit the market with 250 or 275 horsepower. I hear that the Cadillac CTS is somewhat popular but owners want more power. It came out with a small engine, with a larger engine promised a year or so later. The manufacturers are just hurting their own sales- when you hit the market with that car you should put the big engine in it from the start. I've played that game of waiting around for a manufacturer to put in the promised new engine, only to get tired of waiting and buy something else. The buyers are out there waiting, the manufacturers only have to come up with what they want and it will sell. If they only go part way, then their sales will suffer accordingly.
