A base 2003 Vette Coupe starts at $43,995.  With the following options:

12-Disc CD Changer 
3.15 Performance Axle Ratio 
6-Speed Manual Transmission 
Body-Color Body Side Moldings 
Custom Sport Magnesium Wheels 
Performance Handling Package 
Preferred Equipment Group 1 

The sticker is $49,150.  There are more options than this available.  I just
picked the ones I'd like to have.  I'm sure you could negotiate the price down
of course.

BTW, it's interesting to note that the auto trans is standard and the 6 speed
costs extra.
