[Shotimes] Heater core?

Anthony,

Inspect, very carefully, the hose connections at the firewall. Use an
inspection mirror and a flashlight and check the system when fully
pressurized.

These hose connections have commonly been known to fail, causing a spray of
coolant into the heater box through the opening in the firewall especially
on the underside of the hose.

If these connections are clear, then yes, you have a bad heater core. They
are NOT fun to replace.

My first one took me a week and a half, that included a couple days of
trying to get the AC hoses loose, and a couple more waling past the car and
kicking it.

I did the last core change in less than 8 hours, which included swapping the
dash shell.
