[Shotimes] SHO Materials Available for the Taking & some items for sale

Hi folks-
Well, I've finally come to the end of the road with my 94 SHO. Actually,
the front of a Contour came into contact with the right passenger side of
the SHO. While no one was seriously hurt, it was fatal for the fine
machine that has served us well for five years (smashed windows, doors off,
bent frame). In the next couple of days we'll be selecting a replacement,
and while the SHO was a fantastic car, it's time to try some German
engineering. (Actually, between the start of drafting this email and now,
we've picked up a BMW 540i - a natural successor to the SHO, I think. The
LS8 came close, but not close enough . . ).

While my workaday obligations have required me to ease back on my active
SHO enthusiasm in the past couple of years, I still have many of the
materials I started collecting with the purchase of my first SHO (an '89,
back in Georgia). I'd collected many of them with the hope of making much
of it available on the web (with the bounds of fair use, of
course). However, with the demands on my time, I simply won't be able to
accomplish that goal now. So, with the hope that the other enthusiasts can
benefit from my collection of materials, I'm offering the items below to
someone who can promise that they'll be put to good public use. If you
just want a bunch of articles for your own benefit, please don't respond -
I'd like to get these to someone who will share. I have:

About a dozen back issues of the SHO Registry Magazine (mostly 94-97)

Back issues of the Peachtree Chapter of the SHO Registry Newsletter

	Back issues of MASHOC newsletters

A binder full of magazine articles (some original, some photocopied)
covering the SHO and SHO-related items (mostly gen II & III
coverage). Includes a lot of the articles listed at
http://www.shotimes.com/php-bin/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=index&catid=&topic=7.

Lots of other SHO-related materials - dyno records for various
permutations of modifications (including a number that are not up on
SHOtimes.com - let me know if you want scans, Evan), magazines with SHO
articles (Autoweek, Motortrend, etc. & including one penned by someone who
did the Silver State Challenge in a SHO!). Heck, I've even got some
design-mock-ups of old SHO brochures that Jason Brown (SHOboat) and I were
working on way back when.

I'd prefer to keep it all as a single lot, as I'm not asking for any $$
for these materials and don't want to spend my time figuring out shipping
arrangements. I'm hoping it can find a home with the sort of enthusiasts
that have made this list interesting over the years (going back to the
c-edge.com days, for me) - Mike "y'all are a headache" Schwartz, David
"it's your problem, now" Bonds, Tim "watch me with this Windex" Wright,
Gary "betcha didn't understand that" Morrell, and even Noah "two burgers
short of a Happy Meal" South. It's been fun, folks.

Cheers,

Mark Blacknell
