Ron,

Obviously, you did not obey the laws of additive HP mods.  If you add two or more HP mods to the same car, the expected HP gains increase at an exponential rate.  That rate is determined by the inverse of the buyers intelligence.  The lower the intelligence, the higher the HP gains.  Its all very simple...
