On OBD-II cars, if the gas cap is not fully tightened, it will throw a CE
light.  Unless the gas was REALLY diluted, I don't think that price has that
much to do with it.  I'm paying $1.299 for Amoco Ultimate 93 octane.  If you
are paying more, then you are probably getting raped by your state in the
form of taxes.  Oh yeah, and you CAN'T get 93 octane in Cali...  Yeah, you
get what you pay for.  BTW, I've never had any problems with bad gas in
Georgia either (except from a Racetrac gas station, they add alcohol or
something to their gas, and it just doesn't run right), and our cost per
gallon is one of the cheapest in the nation.
