[Shotimes] Almost death by SUV

That's the problem with a lot of the people I know today... they could care
less about how something works, but they sure raise hell when it breaks
about how bad it is (whether they take good care of it or not).

I wish I had a spare engine to dismantle and fix to running shape, and then
I'd be satisfied that I had learned something.  IMHO, books are practically
worthless for true learning without hands on experience.  And that is what a
lot of people lack today.  I worked at a computer shop for a few years, and
it was immediately apparent to me who did things according to a book and who
had taught themself, depending on the problems that would stump them.
