But therein lies the problem Josh, and why so many people hate SUVs. A lot
of people, I'd venture to say MOST, can't handle a large vehicle like an
Expedition, let a lone an Excursion. These people should NOT have the right
to choose whatever vehicle they want to drive, because they're incapable of
driving it. Yes, this goes into your better driver training argument, but
that's not going to happen, and just because you train someone doesn't mean
they're going to make the effort to be safer driver behind the wheel of such
a large vehicle. A lot of them don't care to learn and just figure that
because they're bigger, they don't have to care. SUVs may have a place, but
right now that place seems only to be that of a status symbol, and a license
to not give a shit about anyone else on the road but yourself.

Number one argument I hold against the manufactures of SUVs. Those stupid
ass backup sensors. What the HELL were they thinking? That's encouraging
someone to not even TRY to learn to handle their vehicle. Now they can rely
on mediocre electronics so they can make less of an effort to learn how to
drive. I'm sure the dickhead that came up with these thought he was making
a major breakthrough in the SUV field, when all he did was push it back even
further by bringing more and more idiots out of the woodwork.
