F16's are also Air Force only, not Navy, so no carrier take offs or
landings.  Although all early F16's had arresting gear.  You are also
forgetting the F16B and I think D.  Primarily constructed as trainers (B
version), but I think the D version is also capable of ground attack with
the back seat as Weapons/Target Officer, as with the F4's.  My memory could
be failing, as I lost interest in flight back in the mid-80s when I was no
longer able to get my pilot's license or go to the Air Force Academy (long
story, but medically unable to serve).
