I think you guys are a little hard on Ford, and specifically the bull.
Taurus was state-of-the-art when it came out in '86; an overnight wonder.
Definitely the target for most other manufacturers.  Problem was Ford rested
on their laurels and didn't make any improvements for 10 years, and even
then I'm not sure.
