Nancy,

Unfortunately it's not about pride. It's about what his friends think and
how cool he thinks it looks. If his friends make fun of him or the car,
pride goes out the window, and he'll be embarassed and won't drive the car.

Remember, he's just a kid, not an adult like us.

Jim Ryan - Wayne, NJ
91 Plus - all white/mocha
FPS 96 brakes, Carbotech pads, LPM and 80mm MAF w/ K&N and SHO Shop can &

Shop linear springs, f&r strut tower braces and poly bushings all around,
HiRevs Jr clutch and lightweight flywheel, underdrive pulleys, torque
limiters, Cincy SHO reinforced engine mounts, Bridgestone Potenza RE730

the car when he gets to drive it because he'll have the proud sense that HE
helped fix this car up. not many of the other kids driving mommy and daddy's
sports car can say that they fixed their own car. David can :)
