[Shotimes] '89 SHO problem - Tach doesn't move while cranking the motor

Hi all,

My friend and I did an engine swap on his '89 SHO, and now we are having a 
problem getting it started.. 

The tachometer stays dead when we crank the motor over.. I think it must be 
relative to our no-start condition..

What might it be? We tried unplugging the camshaft position sensor, the MAF, 
and so forth, but nothing helped..

Please help us out..
