There was a thread earlier this weeks asking what kind of tires to get. I
picked up the November issue of Grassroots Motorsports and they have a good
review of the high end DOT 'R' rubber as well as high end street rubber.
Overall, they rated the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KD but the Falken Azenis
Sport are a good second choice and are substantially cheaper.

They mentioned that if you want a good track/autocross/daily driver tire
that will last, the Kuhmo ECSTA Supra 712 are a good choice.

For the 'R' type, they rated the Hoosier A3S03 the best.

They used the same sized tires on the same car, a Neon ACR and ran them
multiple times.
