Doug:
 You can pick up the Tach signal from the DIS on the IDM or #12 pin. Wire
should be gray/orange stripe. Also under the hood is a "Tach Service
Connector". This should be a empty plug on the passenger side of the engine
compartment. Laying up on top of or beside the strut tower. Single wire
Tan/Yellow stripe.

was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find the right connections to
hook up to.  someone told me once where a sender was, and it was somewhere
on the right side of the motor but i can't remember exactly where, thanks
