[Shotimes] OT - Dodge's New Hemi?

Is the new 5.7L motor (w/ 3xxHP, wow) that Dodge is calling a "Hemi" really a Hemi (with hemispherical heads)?  Or is this another marketing ploy which 99 percent of Americans will buy hook, line & sinker.  I'm very skeptical lately, with all the pseudo-engineering running around on today's cars (auto-stick, ram-air, sport pacakges...)

I hope the new GTO isn't another shell of it's former self.
