This weekend will be warm in Michigan...guess what I'll be doing?

Since the blend door motor looks to be right next to the heater core,
should I consider replacing the core at the same time? Mine's not
leaking, but it does have 155,000 miles and 8 years on it. Is there
any other preventive maintenance I should do while I'm in there? I
do have A/C, so I know I have to break some A/C lines and replace the
accumulator.

As always, any other advice is welcomed and appreciated.

TIA.

John.
