[Shotimes] pinion rivet (was MTX Tranny Troubles )

Thanks for the words of confidence that these rivets rarely break.

And another thanks to Doug @ PPlus who got me in on short notice. His total
was $800. Likely close to what my hospital bill would have been when the
tranny would have come crashing down on my arm!

Rather than mess with the tranny myself, I was able to go to Madison,
Wisconsin and sell a metal siding job that almost paid for this repair. And
it should be a job were I can point to sell other jobs. Those of you that
are going to the '03 convention are directed to look at the Nissan dealer
just off on the North side of the 12/18 beltway. The metallic silver siding
on his shop will have been sold by yours truly.

I am sure that if one were to search enough that you could find a source for
the proper sized replacement bolt/nut.

There are thousands of bolt makers still left in this country and many more
quality ones overseas that make millions of sizes.

I would search for a source, but this rivet is so distorted and banged up
that I would have trouble determining the exact size. Also what the grade
would need to be?
