[Shotimes] Checking timing

The reason for me wanting to check timing is that I recently replaced my
timing belt and wanted to double check to make sure everything is correct.
While I didn't remove the crank gear to replace the front main seal, I did
look at the woodruff key itself and didn't notice any abnormal wear, and I
double checked the torque on the engine dampner bolt to make sure it was
tight.

anyway. Not that I think this is a wast of time though- when my dealer had
my car trying to diagnose its problem, before George's revelation of "crank
cancer", all they would have had to do was to check timing and it would have
immediately pointed out my problem. They did enough troubleshooting to run
up a good diagnosis bill, but they didn't discover the timing problem or any
other problem for that matter. There are easier ways to check for crank
cancer though.
