[Shotimes] cooling fans

I just picked up a really sweet White Gen 1 + , the cooling fans wont come
on. I changed out the controller with another one, the car ran but the fan
never came on. I powered the fan directly and it worked. Any ideas?

The lights:
The dash lights only come on with the auto on controller, I switched this as
well with one from my 92 and no dice. This happened to my 93 years ago but I
cant remember what the fix was. I think I hot-wired the lights.
