If your spot welds on the plate on top of the tower have not been drilled out
the position of the strut should not change when the nuts are removed and an
alignment is unnecessary. If the welds have been drilled the strut could move
when the nuts are removed....however, if you mark the position of the plate
to the strut tower and not do anything to shift the strut position it
shouldn't move. If it does move get it back to your marks as precisely as
possble. Either scenario an alignment is probably not needed. Bob 93 MTX
