[Shotimes] Headliner Deterioration

Soaking the shade in water will take you forever and a day. I used gasoline
(very safe) and it just washed right off. I tried all sorts of chemicals,
but the gas worked best.

Go to your local parts store that caters to the auto body crowd, and ask for
a paint (it's really a dye) made by S.E.M.. They produce a product that is
made for automobile interior plastics and carpets. It is a two part process,
first the prep and then the dye. It looks great and will last forever.
Regular paint will not stick forever, if at all.
