[Shotimes] Digital Camera; Which one of two should I choose?

I have the Canon S30.  Lots of adjustments possible, BUT, leave it in AUTO
and point & shoot & the VAST majority of the time perfect pictures.  The
Canon software for viewing & printing is prretty nice too.
