Canola Oil is the absolute lowest friction oil you can put in your engine.
There is NOTHING on the market right now that has a better CoF than Canola
Oil. Of course changing your oil every couple days tends to be a bitch.

I have a list that a local guy compiled of friction tests with different
oils, along with those same different oils with different oil additives put
in them. In MOST cases the additives caused more friction and MORE wear. I
wish I could remember the magic combination. It was a mid range oil, and a
lesser know additive, but it was considerably better than all the other
combinations. If I can dig it out of this mess on my desk I'll put it up
somewhere so people can look at it. Oh and one of the additives was REALLY
bad for your engine, I think it was Prolong but I'm not sure. It always
made the CoF worse, and caused more wear no matter what oil you used.
