Thanks a lot!  That was very interesting and informative reading.

Unfortunately I have tried a similar procedure for bedding in my pads and
rotors on my SHO countless times, and they still warp within a couple of
months.

My Omni has the CHEAPEST rotors money can buy, with inexpensive pads, and
that thing has NEVER given me brake trouble.  It'll take countless stops
from 80+ and not even fade!  Maybe it's because the brakes on it are about
the size of our SHOs.  It sure is sad when a car that weighs 2400 pounds has
the same size brakes as a car that weighs 3400 pounds and is 10 years newer!
Brakes are probably the weakest link on our cars!

Maybe the solution is to get monster brakes like the new Focus SVT, and then
maybe our rotor issues will be solved..
