Paul, assuming you have a Gen I/II SHO, all you have to do is look in the
left side of the trunk. Peel back the carpeting and you will see a little
box mounted on the bracing with a red button. The button will be pushed
down a bit. Give this box or the bracing it's mounted on, a good smack and
the button should pop out. Now go start the car. It will run for a couple
seconds and then sputer off. keep turning it over until there is no sign of
the car firing. Go replace the filter! Just watch out, you will still get
some fuel shooting out. When you are done, press the red button back in and
start the car. Have fun! : )
