This has never worked for me, so I just relieve the pressure at the schrader
valve on the fuel rail.  It's real easy to do - just take a screwdriver tip,
wrap it in a rag to catch the fuel spray, and push down on the valve.
There's not much pressure in our systems to worry about -  just protect your
eyes from any potential spray when relieving the pressure.

You should see how far fuel goes flying on 2.2 turbos when swapping filters
or removing any gas lines without relieving the pressure first! : )  They
run A LOT more pressure than our SHO's do...
