It's not going to hurt it to start the engine, listen to it hit on 6 cylinders, then
shut it down.  It would be the same as turning it by hand for a few revs.

It would be running for less time than it takes to type one of these sentences.  The
bearings are NOT going to be hurt for 5 seconds.

I don't mean to nag, but it won't hurt it.
