Does never never (double negative?) mean that it was always raced? :)

Do you live on a highway? How was it driven entirely on the highway? Or
do you mean that you didn't drive half on the shoulder and half on the
road?

I never raced the car, NEVER, but performed these modifications as the
car was driven ENTIRELY on the highway, so I wanted to get as much
efficiency out of it as possible, and that it did, providing me with an
average of 28-30 miles to the gallon on the highway at a steady speed of
approximately 80 mph.
