[Shotimes] Windshield Wipers

Long Beach?!!!  Well, thats the problem, you aren't seeing rain or clouds
but rather the by-products of oil refining.  But then, being from New
Jersey, the home of refineries, you should know that ;-)  Fortunately, LB is
considerably further than 30 min. north of San Diego, unless you are flying
a Lear; so we don't get the effluvium from there.  No, rather it comes up
from Tijuana..............I have to admit in the last couple days we have
had about .1" of rain, the first since April.  We forget how to drive in the
stuff; many like to mount their snow tires to be safe.  But last weekend my
family and I went to the Miramar air show to see the blue angels and other
military goodies, it was about 80 and sunny, got a little sunburn.  And
whats this about the east coast of Florida, "rains once in a while?"  Isn't
that the home of the mother of all thunderstorms?  Hah, sounds like a troll
to me.....;-)
