[Shotimes] HID question

Supposedly you can buy the Mach Focus's HID headlamp assemblies for $160
each (!!!) This also supposedly comes with the entire headlight
enclosure, sockets, bulbs, ballasts, harness, etc... I personally don't
believe that you can get OEM HID kits for $160 each but then again, I
don't have 320 to drop and verify this personally.

I still have a Gen 2 headlight assembly I intend to put something
meaningful in (projector lens's..) but that's sort of on hold.

David, do you have any plans to build 3V or 9V EL inverters that are
somewhat "clean" RF signal wise? I know you were looking into that
before (among your many other projects).

Yeah, I noticed that the mix-up after I posted the message. <sigh>

Whenever I get the 500 other projects I have lined up out of the way,
I'll be fabbing a mold to produce fiberglass fascias that will take the
place of the driving lamp assembly, fishtank and turn signal. I'll use
the same or similar lamps that herman uses, only it will look more like
an Integra. Four projector lenses will be a nice change, HID or not.
Won't be cheap, that's for sure, but it will bring something to the car
that it's never seen; useful driving lamps.
