Try a new gas cap. The cap is part of a sealed fuel system. If it's not
sealing
correctly, that could be causing your problem. Besides, it's a cheaper
than a
fuel pump. ; )

[Shotimes] SHO shutting down when hot
I know I've seen something on this before, but not sure where.
I was told when I bought my car(93 MTX) that when it's hot(outside temp,
not
the car) I have to make sure to keep fuel in it or it will die. Well, it
died on me once when it got to a quarter of a tank. Since then, I've been
keeping at least a half tank in it, but it is still doing it. I was in
line
yesterday at the bank, try to take off, it dies.
Funny thing, I thought about vapor lock in the tank, so I open the gas
tank,
start it, runs great.
What is going on? Do I need a new fuel pump?
Any help is appreciated!!!
