I had mine welded there [SHOShop full length version]. I could not find 
anyone in the Milwaukee area that would do it, even V8 tuner places. They 
claimed liability concerns, starting the car on fire concerns, and "why do 
you want that done?". I had painted the SFC's, inside and out, prior to 
getting them welded on. Doug was not very happy with the fact he had to grind 
the paint off, however prepainting them is the only way to properly cover all 
sides of the SFC. As has been mentioned here previously, the SHO's subframe 
is intended to break free and slide under the car in the event of a serious 
frontal deal, therefore, bevel the leading edges of the SFC's so the subframe 
is hindered as little as possible in it's movement under the car.
