I agree, Mike. I've had a vacuum bleeder that runs off my compressor. I
finally have a method that eliminates MOST bubbles coming in around the
bleeder, but it still is an issue. The brakes bleed just fine, but the
bubbles are misleading in thinking that you still have a problem.
A pressure bleeder, like the one from Motive Products
http://www.motiveproducts.com/ is the way to go. The Universal Power Bleeder
with the 1101 cap is $49.95, I got the Pro unit with all three caps to fit
virtually everything (like the Ford, GM, German and Japanese cars I have).
The other way to go is to build the DIY pressure bleeder
http://www.apexcone.com/Bleeder/bleeder.html
and then buy the 1101 cap from Motive Products for $19.95. Total cost should
be $35 if you use the $7 1.5 liter pump bottle from Home Depot. I recommend
getting the HD cap from Motive Products if you build your own. After my
aborted experience with the DIY, due to NOT being able to get a cap setup to
hold more than 5 psi on the m/c (notice the DIY in the link is not a Ford
m/c, the GM cap they recommend won't fit) since the Ford setup doesn't allow
a tight-enough fit. I tried silicone, rubber gaskets, Saran wrap, etc and
nothing worked. If you build your own, don't bother getting a pressure
gauge for it. I did, and 20 psi was all I could get on the small bottle,
anyway.

I've used one of these before. I didn't like it because even with all of
the adapters they give you, I couldn't find one that fit tight enough over
the bleeders to be able to create a vacuum. They leaked air, and in the
end I bled the brakes the old fashioned way.
