I'd have to double check on the 185/190hp thing. I'll let us all know soon. 
The intercooler was introduced in 87 though so it wouldn't have had any 
effect on the 83-86 models unless it was an aftermarket add on(had a couple) 
or a retrofit from the 87/88. Yeah they were pretty quick for what they were 
though, mine was a blast. -Steve Bowen

<< Not to be picky, but the 5-speed Turbo Coupe had 190 hp, and the auto had 
a lot
 less, about 150 or so.  The intercooler brought it up (for the stick) from 
about 145
 in the '86 and older models.  Mine was as fast (in its prime) as a stock 351 
Mach 1
