Well George and Lowrider,
Again the little brother follows the older brother.
Snowwind had a very similar collision about 5 years
ago.
I had to move him from where he was parked to make
room for a hay trailer, being towed by my boyfriend at
the time..
He drove a standard white F150. I guess we didn't
communicate well enough(we aren't together now
either),,,I said I will move Snow first. He miss
understood and as I backed up, he rolled forward.
The right rear quarter panel still has a dimple just
on the inside of the farthest most corner, but the
corner red lens cover was shattered, the rear
taillight received a fist size hole in the outer red
shell and I was furious.
That Snow and Lowrider received impact in the exact
same location surprises me not at all.
And of course the earlier escapades into the land of
injury are strangely similar..
I did not put a claim in at the time and chose to
repair the damage at my own cost....it was my blunder.
I would suggest, that even though you have your custom
paint at present that you contact a Ford dealer and
invite them to paint the once-upon-a-time Oxford White
Lowrider, his original factory coating and turn him
into the white knight that we know him to be.
I know your pain is deep. I know all to well.
Snowwind's regards to Lowrider.....but the story, from
our point of view is once again more interesting when
the situation is thoroughy understood under the guise
of true brotherhood.
Long live the SHOs, long live brothers, and longer
live their obsessed owners.
Marlene and Snowwind......been there done that!
Snowwind currently daily driven: 315,387 miles, popped
5500rpms in 4th at somewhere around 92mph, chasing
down a good looking "something" tried to get close
enough to see what she was....didn't get there in time
and she was gone.
Bart, down at 196K waiting for tensioner pulley and
end links.
